DIY hanger (PIP)

I decided to take on a couple of last minute projects and had to show you this one....... I didn't think I'd be able to pull it off this well but as it turns out, these are quite easy to make and only took me about an hour to pull together (and WAY cheaper to do yourself than ordered off of Etsy).

    LOL I have to admit I thought your post said DIY Hangover...haha.  Maybe I should lay off the wine tonight.

    hahah well that is also a DIY but I'll leave that for another day.... a day I don't have to be up at 6am the next day LOL.

    Tasha, you can do first names.  FWIW, we fit 5 letters for my name, 5 for his, and a plus sign on ours.  Granted, I ordered mine off etsy so I'm sure I just made it sound easier than it is LOL

    beautiful!! i wanted to get one of these, but my hawaiian last name has an okina in it (basically backwards apostrophe) and they couldn't do it. I didn't want it if it wasn't going to be correct. however i didn't think about doing first names only. duh!

    You can totally do first names or just "bride" or your name, a heart and then FI's name and there's my other favourite "I Do". If you go to Etsy and look it up you'll see tons of ideas other than using the last name. Pick something you like and just try it out - I got a ton of wire for only $3 so you have lots to play with and trial.
    I googled instructions for DIY bridal hanger and also put it in the search bar on the knot - it links you to posts with great suggestions and links to other knotties who have put instructions in their bio's. I did find using my fingers to mold the letters worked much better than the needle nose pliers but you will need them for some letters.
