I saw in a previous post that you went to Africa for your honeymoon. We're planning on going to Africa, too!  Did you use a travel agency or did you book it yourself?  How long did you go for? Any advice? You can also email me at queenkow @ hotmail.com.  TIA

    I planned it myself. We are pretty adventurous so I planned the activities we wanted to do and booked airfare over there. Other than that we just winged it in country (we also traveled to Costa Rica and Egypt like this). It was great not having something pre-planned because we were able to stay in some places longer that we thought we would (Namibia - to go on a safari and relax in Windhoek, our guide had actually taken Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt our sand boarding!) and in other places for shorter times (Cape Town). We used a lonely planet book to aid in our travel, and internet cafes (which are all over). We were there for ~3 weeks. I highly, highly recommend Zimbabwe. Victoria Falls is awesome, plus the lion walk ($100/person) is amazing, you literally walk with lions (they are young), and bungee jumping is great too. In Zimbabwe you can book most anything (safaris to Botswana or Zimbabwe, river cruises, etc). Gorilla Trekking was also something not to be missed.
