...we've got ourselves a convoy.What is your favorite one hit wonder or favorite random song?  Escape (the Pina Colada song)?  A Captain and Tenille tune?  A disco anthem?  There's got to be something off the wall that you would turn up just a little if it came on but not admit it to anyone....I know people get annoyed with polls, but I am REALLY trying to avoid work and I am having fun with my 1 hit wonders.

    Arbolita, you just made my day.  My parents had two 8 track tapes when I was a kid- Helen Reddy and "Trucker songs."  I will always love Convoy.

    I often wonder if I'm the only one who likes sappy Goo Goo Dolls music.You are not alone.  My mom was big into Goo Goo Dolls when I was in JH, so they have a special place in my heart.  Iris always reminds me of the movie "City of Angels" and it makes me tear up.

    I'm from Buffalo, and I put the Goo Goo Dolls "Live in Buffalo, July 4, 2004" DVD on sometimes and tear up with homesickness. I pretty much like all their stuff except for that song from City of Angels.

    CS:  Ouch.Early 90's = 5th grade for you?I was in college and listening to The Chronic in the early 90's.  I missed the whole Seattle thing.  I am only now catching up on all the non-hip hop and non-R&B music that exists.  Playing Rock Band has opened my eyes to tons of different music.  Who would have thought that I would have like Foreigner and Boston so much.  hahahaha(ps. 1 hit wonder radio is playing "Sunscreen."  Anyone remember that?)

    Carebear-The original One Night in Bangkok was from Murray Head from a musical called "Chess."  I have seen said show and it is a little lame, but this is a great song.  Who would have thought it was from a play....

    Interesting fact Smokey! I have another friend who loves the song too, I'll have to share that. It seriously makes me so happy whenever I hear it on the radio, I start dancing around in my seat. Sadly though, I hardly ever hear it on the radio.

    One hit wonder- Day after Day by Badfinger My ipod is full of one hit wonders but I am too lazy to go get it. Here is something interesting I learned last night while looking up The Call (Everywhere I Go and I Still Believe)....they were Christian singers!! I loved them when I was a goth girl...I had no idea.
