OK so I know I'm joining late being that my wedding is only about 11-12 weeks away (OMG that soon?!?! Gah!) BUT - as the day is drawing closer I wanted to find a place to post about the wedding with other ladies who will understand what I'm going through!
My name is Karol, I'm 29 years old and from Wisconsin. My wedding date is August 17th. My fiancé and I met through a mutual friend after I was having trouble with my car and contacted said friend to see if he knew what the issue could be - he in turn introduced me to Greg. So if it wasn't for my lemon of a jeep, I never would have met the love of my life (the issue that caused me to meet him, went away right after we met in person too
). Because of this our wedding band engravings say "Thank God For Lemons. 8.17.12"
Most of my planning is done we're down to just the details, so that's exciting! We're doing a LOT of DIY stuff for the wedding (I created the invites, thank you cards, we're making photobooth props, I did all of my own flowers, centerpieces, etc). Getting REALLY excited for the big day!
We're having a parisian theme (our wedding is taking place on what would have been the 66th wedding anniversary of my grandparents, who met while they were stationed in Paris during WWII), and our colors are blue (turquoise) and brown. Anddd that's pretty much all about my wedding hahaha.
