What kind of pen should I be using for my thank yous? I have hear a black ball point and a blue. Does it matter? Should I be using a nicer pen?

    Really you are totally over thinking this one. I think I used a regular pen I cannot stand gel pens. I also like fine point! I would use black though.

    I will use whatever pen I am closest to.  Although I do prefer blue pens.

    I just wrote out some TY notes from gifts we received before the wedding and I used whatever pen I could grab. I do tend to write in black though since I'm forced to for work.

    I prefer blue ink. and the papermate ones with the tops. Those are the best. I don't think it matters!

    It happens... we all want to do such a good job, that it's easy to second guess yourself. Case in point, this post. I can't show you the card, shutterfly wasnt letting me swipe a copy and I simply cannot muster the strength to take a pic and upload it. 12 down, over a hundred to go! Back to the sweatshop for me!

    All you have to do is take a screen shot woman!  Open it up on your screen, hit the PrtSc button on your keyboard, and "paste it" into powerpoint or photoshop or something so you can save it and post!You can't talk about it and not show!!! :0P

    Ok, obviously the quality is horrendo... and the blue is more navy in person and less royal blue.

    Oh that it really nice!  I'll have to remember to do the same kind of thing when it's my turn.  I don't think I've ever recieved a nice thank you card like that from a wedding -- I'm glad you were able to get them re-done.
