know anything about "i do at the dome"? Worth going???

Is it worth it to attend bridal shows like "I do at the dome" that is coming up on aug 21st.(i think that's the date) Do you actually win good prizes???

I don't know about I Do At The Dome, but on the northshore back in April, they had one at the Fleur De Lis Event Center in Mandeville, and some of the prizes were free photography, free DJ, free catering, stuff like that. The also had door prizes, but I didn't go, so I'm not sure what they were. There's one coming up on Sept. 11th in New Orleans called Who's Who In I Do. It's at the Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots on Gentilly.

I went to last year's I Do at the Dome. It was not bad - you had to get a paper initialed by nearly every exhibitor, then turn it in and they were raffled for prizes. Some vendors offer discounts for people who attended the bridal show - I got $200 off my photography because I first made contact with them at I Do at the Dome. Also a lot of the vendors have their own drawings going on that you can enter - I recommend giving them an alternate email address when you sign up, otherwise you'll be on about 100 mailing lists. But, there were decent catering samples, and also free champagne. It's worth going to if you're still looking for vendors.

ok! Thanks for the suggestions. My friend actually won a free honeymoon at some other bridal show, but i don't know how to tell which ones you are more likely to win big stuff at.

I went and won one of the prize bags, but since I was originally getting married on a Thursday (changed to a Friday) vendors were offering huge discounts to book with them. It's definitely worth it because everyone is one place and you can kinda narrow down which vendors you're really interested in.
