DIY pics- PICS HEAVY

Hey Girls.. Just wanted to share a few of the DIY projects I've done so far. Some of you may have seen these but these are the bags for my BM's.

I got bord and was just playing around with this pen and it turned out ok.

My paper lumanaries- It will spell out Mr. & Mrs last Name

Pomander Balls- Finally done, I will use these as aisle decor and I'm also thinking about having them as centerpeices as well. (Still debating)

Recognition of parents

Memory table sign

Rose petals- they came white and I dyed them.

Envelope liner with our epics

  • I used tissue paper for the balls and the liners i just printed the pic I wanted and traced over it with the envelope to make sure the pic would be centered. • Thanks ladies: I used a 8oz bottle of rite dye. Filled up an old pot I had at home along with 1/2 cup of salt and let it sit on low heat for about 4 hrs.

  • Great job! I LOVE the bags, the paper lumanaries and the lining!

How did you do the paper lumanaries? This may be a great 'afterparty' decor idea!

Also, I was thinking of doing a lining of the city we are getting married in...any advice? What kind of glue did you use? I was thinking spray glue....

  • Thanks so much guys. Here's the link I followed for the lumanaries. Instead of the vellum paper I used some blue tissue paper that I already had and I got the tealights but they didnt show through that well so I end up getting blue led lights. Me not using vellum is probably the reason the tea lights didnt show as well.

With the liners I just used glue sticks.

  • The poms wasnt hard just time consuming. I found it easier to just assemble the paper first and then fluff them all out at once. I would have my lil bag beside me while watching tv, then I had a girls night and gave all the girls drinks and balls to un-fluff. That saved alot of time.
