Junior Bridesmaid-age oops!

Ok so, I asked my younger cousin to be my junior bridesmaid, we used to be close a while back, but in the past couple of years I have missed out on her growning up. I asked her to be my junior bridesmaid without realizing that she is going to be 18 by the time my wedding comes around. Is she too old to still have the title Jr. bridesmaid? I really want her to be included, but I won't have a young man to walk her down the isle. My friends are all late 20's early 30's and my flower girls are 5-7. She fits right in the middle, so can I still call her a jr. bridesmaid? Thanks for the advice.-Melissa

At nearly 18 years old, I would just call her a bridesmaid, but it's really up to you,

18 is too old to be a Jr. Bridesmaid. She is an adult at that point and being a Jr. could become an insult to her. If you don't have enough groomsmen to escort the bridesmaids, just have one of the guys double up. No one will notice or care if your sides are uneven.

I agree... you could insult her by calling her a "junior" bridesmaid.  She's just a bridesmaid!  And no worries about having someone walk her down the isle.  Usually the girls enter alone and leave with a partner.  If you're worried about her having to exit by herself, what about having the list guy walk the last two girls down himself?!  P.I.M.P. ! =)  Good luck with the decision!
