reasonably priced photographer for engagement pics

Hi all! I live in Northern NJ but my wedding is going to be in the Finger Lakes in Upstate NY.  I'm getting a photographer in Upstate NY for the wedding itself.  However, I'm looking for a photographer in Northern NJ that would be willing to do engagement photos for a reasonable price without a wedding commitment.  Any suggestions? There are so many photographers here- any help would be appreciated!!!

    Can you define a "reasonable price"? That will help narrow down the suggestions. A lot of people have been recommending Jason Rhee lately. Nicole M is also popular on the NJ board and has low prices.

    where in the finger lakes?  i went to school in ithaca and still work western NY.  beautiful area!  i'd def. give my photog. a ring to ask if he could or recommend someone who could for a reasonable price.  (chrisjorda.com) most photog. this is just part of the package, it's just a way to get to know the people before the big day.  you might have better luck just finding a photog. student on craigslist or have a friend take?

    I know that my photog does e-pics of people getting married elsewhere (at least he did in the past).   I know he is fully booked for weddings for next year already, but you can contact him and see if he has room for e-pics.  www.dlauphoto.com
