Wedding Photographer

I recently got engaged..YAY now it's time to start planning. We live in the Tacoma area. We are looking to spend $1,500 to $2,500 for a photographer that would be able to be there from before the ceremony until the reception is almost over. Any recommendations?

Hmm...my photographer is out of that price range....A lot of the girls here like Jenny GG. you could google her. I believe her price is very close to that.

Depending on how long your ceremony/reception is, I'd strongly recommend checking out Jenn Repp (jennrepp-photography.com) I LOVE HER. Her Sweet and Simple package would fit your budget and she is truly amazing.

Another good one in Tacoma is April Greer. I dont know her pricing but I did my boudior photos through her and they were very reasonably priced! We used Azzura for our wedding, which they are hands down. AMAZING!

Hey guys,
I'm a portrait photographer in Tacoma (I live here). I'm looking to branch into engagements/weddings. I have three weddings in the summer that I'm second shooting, then my firs solo wedding in Mexico in October. I am a regular over on the bump & the nest. I run a legitimate business, which unfortunately a lot of photographers don't do these days (meaning I pay taxes, have insurance, am set up as an LLC and have licenses).

Anyway, if you know someone who is getting married later this year {and has a limited budget} can you please send them my way? I'd be willing to do my first wedding for free if it's in the spring time. I need the experience more than I need the $ at this point.

I used to love the Knot back in my wedding days! I got married in April of 2008... seems like yesterday! Congrats on your engagement and have fun planning your weddings!
