Sealing envelopes

Random question: What did you use to seal your invite envelopes? I am definitely not licking 50+ invites! TIA! PS-If this makes you think of a Seinfeld episode, you rock! ;)

It didnt make me think of the Seinfeld episode, but it did make me think of FI! He hates when i lick the envelopes at church to give either tithe or offering, so now i am stuck taking my finger, putting it in my mouth and spreading my saliva on the tip of the envelope for it to close. Then i have to take out my germ-x so ppl dont think i'm so disgusting. LOLSorry...i dont have the answer to your question...i just wanted to share a comment!

I think I licked every single one of mine lol.  They do sell these little water tubes you just fill with water and it has a sponge on the top and you just roll that across... not sure why I didn't get one of these haha.

I used a glue stick.  I didn't want to lick and I wanted to be sure those suckers were sealed!

I cut a small piece of a dish sponge and used that (with water, obviously)  for the STDs and my mom purchased the water rollers, like Jessica mentioned, for the invites.

I'm gonna use a wax seal for the inner envelope. The outer one I'll probably get some kind of roller like mentioned above. I was going to do the seal on the outer, but don't want it to get ruined or fall off.

I used a Q-tip & water - I ran it along the "glue" part of the envelope. I ended up having to use a few Q-tips, but it saved my tongue from yucky tasting envelopes!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm gonna go with the glue stick idea!

Ha, I guess I'm mean. I told my H he had to help with some step of the invitation process. He choose to lick about 100 envelopes. The glue stick sounds like the best idea though!
