Netbride

So I found a bridesmaid dress we all liked, and decided to try to order from NetBride. The only problem is the sizing.  According to the charts, the girls need sizes that are a lot bigger than we thought. My one friend tried on an 8 in store and it was almost perfect, but a 10 would have been better. According to the chart she is a 16!My mom measured the girls with a cm tape and we converted to inches and went with the biggest measurement to determine dress size.

Not sure why that would be. Netbride should have size charts for each of the different designers they carry. We ordered our BM dresses from them and our sizes have been pretty accurate based on the Watters chart.

What brand are they?  Maybe some people have experience with that particular brand.  Is there one  measurement that is pushing the sizing up to a 16, when it doesn't really effect the cut of the dress?  For example:  one of my girls was a 10 in the bust, and 8 in the waist and a 14 in the hips, but the dress was not fitted through the hips, so it didn't actually matter.  We got her the 10 and it fit fine... does that make sense?  If the 'biggest' measurement was one that wouldn't really effect the fit of the dress, then it would make sense that the 8 fit her at the store.  If not,  maybe you can visit another store that carries that line and have the girls all try and find a sample that fits them so they know their size in the brand.  It is also possible that the sample stretched some with a ton of people trying the dress on.
