if i sent a save the date...

just a quick question - we sent out our std's a few months ago and now im kind of stepping back and wondering if i jumped the gun :( a few people well really only one that comes to mind an old gf of mine i sent her a std to her and her at the time long term bf whom she is no longer with - well i haven't talked to her nor seen her in almost a year - is it a RULE to have to send her an invite since i already sent her a std? just wondering what the etiquette is with this ... thanks!!

Unfourtunately it is, that's why I only sent my STD's to immediate family and REALLY close friends.  They say once you send them you have to send an invite, you just have to hope she doesn't come now :)

IMO, I'd suck it up and invite her. I think it's rude if you sent her a STD and then no invite. Is she the kind of friend that you don't miss a beat with if you go awhile without seeing her? Either way, big picture - it's only one or two people. Not a huge deal to invite her. This is why I'm not sending anyone I work with a STD (with one exception but we've been friends for years).

I had the same isssue...i sent them to a few co-workers and a few people that I was undecided about and now the one co-worker I invited no longer works with me....in hindsight I would have only sent to immediate friends and fam...but i wanted my co-workers (since i am a nurse) to be able to make sure they were off....oh well now...
