Hi girls. I am usually on the DW board, but I had a question that is more local. Does anyone know what or where I could find information about the tax return you get when after you get married? I am sure it depends on our income, but just a general amount?? TIA :)

    Thanks, if you can't tell by my sn, snuggie and her costume, we are MASSIVE Ducks fans. Her name is actually Autzen, after the loudest college football stadium :)

    The way your taxes will after marriage depends on WAY too many variables for anyone to give you any kind of idea.If both of you work, you can get a general idea of what your tax bill will be by adding together your adjusted gross incomes from your taxes last year, and looking at the "Married filing jointly" table at irs.gov for the combined amount.

    If you go to the IRS website you can do the tax liabilty calculator and get some idea for your federal taxes.
