Finally! (PIP)

I finally feel like I'm just about 100% ready for our wedding. We got so much accomplished this weekend. I owe my mother and my bridesmaids everything, I couldn't have done it all without them!

We added all the bows to the table signs. Here is an example:

The programs! These took WAY longer than I ever expected. We (5 of us) worked on them for 6 hours yesterday and about 2 hours today. All 150 of them, done!

Candy buffet mockup - without the sign, bags, and bag basket.

We stamped all the well wish cards.

I also picked up my wedding dress and the girls picked up their bridesmaid dresses. I ordered my boudoir book, ordered my grandfather's (officiant) gift, and JP finally got his groomsmen gifts!

I have just a few easy tasks left to "do"...
- print seating chart at Office Max and put it in the frame
- buy all the juice and mixers for the bar (doing the day before the wedding)
- print and put together the groom's day of survival kit
- write my card/letters to JP, my mom, and bridesmaids

Everything else is DONE, other than girly appointments and such.

I can relax and enjoy the last 12 days. I'm also going to Vegas next weekend for my Bachelorette and I cannot wait!

I did the same type of programs for our wedding - they did end up taking way longer than I thought! I had to get FI's help and one of my friends also volunteered (who's not even in the WP).

It took me about 2 hours of prep time and then the three of us about 4 hours to get them finished!! I kept asking myself why I was doing them - then I remembered that people on Etsy wanted about $3 per program! I got them all done for less than $20 (if you don't include the time we put in)!

Half way through...I asked myself the same question. What was I thinking??!? I don't really NEED programs, I just of course thought I had to thave them. We paid more than $20 just because we bought fancy metallic paper and carstock from papersource. I can't remember how much we paid for all of it, maybe $50 or $60? However, we printed them for free at JP's work. The ribbon cost .50 each for 5 rolls. It would have cost me at least $3 minimum per program to have the quality paper and color on each page that we have. We were also able to use some of the left over paper to print all of our signs, which was nice. I am just glad these babies are done, done, done. They were a total pain in my butt, I'm not even going to sugar coat it.

PS. Thanks for all the comliments friends. Allison, last minute flight check?! Perhaps you'd get a deal since it's only 10 DAYS AWAY! ;)
