  This made my H a believer.  We fry a few strips of bacon and sautee the b-sprouts has in the oil and sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top when we want to get decadent. Kristin found this recipe: http://orangette.blogspot.com/2007/11/refilled-and-refueled.html

  I'm weird with you.  Roasted or sauteed, they have a pretty nutty flavor.  Boiled past the point of recognition (how most of us remember them from childhood), they are bitter and gym socky.

  I've never had brussel sprouts, but they're an item I think I might possibly like if made well.  Not like avacados -- I can tell I won't like those just by looking at them.

  As an adaptation of this recipe, we hash the sprouts and saute with bacon for a Thanksgiving side leaving out the pasta. It made a believer out of some avowed non Brussels lovers.

  This post is making me hungry.  I've never cooked brussels sprouts, but this ressypea just moved to the top of my To Make list.Calie- How could anyone hate an avocado?  They taste like butter!

  If you eat a lot of avocado it turns your poo green. I'm surprised you're not into that Cali.We're crossing our fingers that Lorne's family's ranch will be producing avocados again next year. For the good of the ranch and the family and the workers, of course, but mainly so we can get bags and bags of avocados again. I'm selfish.
