Vibes and prayers please

I think this is only the 2nd time I've ever asked for them (knock on wood)... I turned my cell phone on at lunch to find a message from my uncle saying the my grandfather is very ill and most likely has prostate cancer. It was probably misdiagnosed before. He's lost weight, not sure about any other specifics. Supposedly everyone (incl. my parents) have known but me.As some of you may remember, my grandparents live in AZ, and I have not seen them in 8 years (found out a couple of months prior to the wedding that they couldn't come for that). We are planning to go to AZ in March to see them and my aunt and uncle, but now I am afraid I won't get out there in time (my biggest fear). I know I shouldn't jump to conclusions without finding more info, but I just have this sinking pit in my stomach. And I'm feeling guilty already about not keeping in touch with him as much as I should. Sorry that turned into a WOT. I'll be calling my grandma tonight, and my parents. Thanks for reading this.
