We haven't done this in a while. I have two.My shower is this Saturday, I am really excited. I have totally been registry stalking and I am floored by the awesome gifts my friends and family are getting me. The second one is that I did a wedding no-no. I invited some distant relatives that I did not think would come to make my in-laws and grandparents happy. Well, they are RSVPing yes and I am worried about space. Oh Shiit.

    I am not having a shower and nothing has been taken from my registry... that makes me kind of sad.

    Jodi, I thought I didn't want a shower and then I found out my aunt wanted to throw me one and I was so happy. I am sorry you are not having one :( But you are getting married in less than two weeks, that is plenty exciting!

    I'm pretty sure that I'm having a work shower so that will be fun. 12 days! I can't believe it.

    I confess that I procrastinated on some wedding things and now it's causing me stress to the point of hating my wedding. I want nothing to do with it. I also confess that the other night I had a wedding dream that we all crashed Brit's wedding. It wasn't intentional...more of a "we were all in the area for some reason" and when things started to go wrong we all helped her out and calmed her down. When I woke up I must admit that I was happy to have a dream about a wedding besides my own. Brit- Don't worry. If I remember correctly, nothing really went wrong. It was just minor things here and there that we all convinced you not to stress about.

    Britt I peeked at your BBB registry and there are some awesome gifts gone!!! I'm hoping to start seeing some wedding gifts dissapear off of ours!!

    oooh...I just peeked at it too and hot damn! The girl got her mixer. I LOVE mine and I use it a lot. Brit- It was pretty fabulous. ;) You had 3 ceremonies...so that was a little weird. lol But you looked gorgeous!

    Haha that's awesome about your registry... as for the out of town guests, I'm going to be sending invites out to people to make parents happy... after reading your post I'm curious to see what happens! haha My confession... and this is going to sound terrible... I don't want my FMIL's help with anything! She's been nothing but stressful, even made me cry the day we went dress shopping! AND she wants to throw a shower for me but I told her no thank you. I'm in the military so none of my family, like mom or step mom or even closest friends would make it. Not to meniton it would just be something for her to hold over my head, because that's what she does with everything nice she does for me :(
