Hi Ladies, hope this may help you all in your planning! Our day was perfect and so much fun! Happy Planning, its all worth it!!Henri's Cloud Nine in Minerva- A This was a far drive to make but well worth it! They had a large selection of gowns that were different from other salons. The ladies were helpful, not pushy and stayed past closing patiently while i made my decision. My only dislike was they did not offer alterations.Davids Bridal Strongsville Location - C, Summit Mall A I was reluctant to try Davids, but settled with them since all my girls had access to a store. The strongsville location was rude to my girls, and did not tell them any of the specifics that I had registered with them. Two of the girls ended up buying the same dress because of this. They would not call other stores to check on what sizes they had to try a certain dress on either. Summit Mall however was fantastic. They were pleasant, would walk the girls around and show them the dresses, called me with updates. They were just nice people in general, Shawna particularly.Alterations: Juliannes Bridal in Olmstead Falls A+ She was wonderful! She was helpful, really knew what she was doing and her prices are excellent. She did my bustle, hem, and added straps for under $150. Ceremony: St Francis Xavier in Medina A+ We picked this church since my fiance is catholic and its near the reception hall. We met with Deacon Joe and did all our counseling with him. It ended up that he would be unavailable b/c of a retreat on our wedding weekend, but then changed his plans so he could officiate our ceremony afterall. Our ceremony was perfect, personal and we are still having people comment on it. He really does a great job!Reception Hall: The Galaxy in Wadsworth A+ We could not have asked for a smoother reception. We dropped all our centerpieces and reception decor off, they set it all up for us. Dinner was on time, hot, and delicious! It was a little hard to get ahold of David the weeks before the wedding, he's one busy man! But in the end, he came through!DJ: Jason from Big Ear Entertainment A+ Wow, we needed a bigger dance floor! He did a great job helping us plan the schedule of the evening, and keeping things moving. The floor was packed all night, and everyone had a great time. Also has a great speaking voice.Photography: Chris Smanto from Ken Love Photography A + We had Chris and an assistant who are partners with Ken Love. They arrived on time, helped us set up pictures, and were very flexible. They are pretty quiet, but they know where a photo will look good! Before the ceremony I was in the downstairs of the church, very plain auditorium. I thought he was crazy when he set me up to take pictures in this dark entrance. The man MADE light! I have no idea how but the pictures look like I had sunshine streaming in around me. They caught everything that day, a total of about 5,186 pictures. And we own all the rights.Flowers: Arkay in Brunswick...B-I was not really happy with the way the flowers turned out. Maybe I should have been more specific when I met with them. My bouquet had a lot of greenery in it, and was mostly white with some purple. I had asked for a purple bouquet with some white. I also insisted on having a sturdy flower for the boutineers since everyone would be hugging and what not. The guys had carnations which lasted, but my groom had a green stem at the end of the night b/c his was smashed and fell right off. Cake: Ritos in Brunswick B The cake was delicious but we had way too much. We originally said cake for 270. Two weeks before the big day we knew our count had changed and we were looking at 215. They would not lower the amount of cake or price. Then the week of the wedding they let us know they were adding on two heart shaped cakes, so even though we said we had too much cake, they gave us two more heart cakes. Although the table looked nice, it was a waste of cake. Hope this helps! If anyone has questions about any of these venders, i'd be happy to answer! Good luck!!
