My mom had a follow up doctors appointment today after getting her mammogram done a week ago. She was there for hours today getting more pictures done and they have determined that they have found a mass and that it is not a cyst. We're now playing the waiting game to find out what it actually is and what will need to be done. My mom has gone through so many things in her lifetime. Things that most people never even have to encounter and we've already seen her through a bad breast cancer scare when I was in high school. Please send prayers and knottie vibes her way! I'm really scared for her and how this potential news might affect all of us but I'm trying to be strong for her as my husband and I are her main support system.
