Are we supposed to have the gifts there by the 'exchange by' date OR are we supposed have them there as close to that date as possible? The reason I ask is that I have almost *all* of my SS shopping done. I was going to send the gift right after T-giving (possibly that weekend). Just so it's not just 'one more thing' that has to be done with the birthday(the kiddo)-birthday (my sister)-birthday (my nephew)-holiday craziness. I never paid attention to all this in the past because I was lurking and last year I was a jealousE hoar because I was a newbie and was not invited into the circle of trust until too late.
