Random--Chocolate Gifts

Where is your favorite place to get a chocolate gift from other than Godiva (but on the same scale) or where is the best tasting chocolate/candy you have ever had from?I am trying to get a head start on holiday gifts...TIA

Don't know if you consider it the same scale...but I really like Lindt Chocolate. Their balls are awesome!

LOVE the truffle balls. We are stocked forever. My fave are the white chocolate and the peanut butter ones...I will never ever lose any weight. Anywho, I will google later but where are they located in the city, Uppereast...TY!I'd like to stay in about the realm of Godiva but not way over (if that's very possible anyhow) I need like 15 or so boxes...just want to change it up a bit.

Jacques Torres is at Hudson and King -- not sure where else.Maison du Chocolat has a few locations that I know of.  There's one in Rockefeller Center, one on Madison around 79th, one on Wall Street, and they're also available at Bergdorf's.  More expensive than Godiva per piece, but MUCH better -- and they have plenty of smaller sets. Now that I think of it, Vosges in Soho is also a good choice if you have some more adventurous people on your list.  They have really exotic, crazy flavors.

I love Neuhaus chocolate--it's from Belgium and I was totally that girl who went shopping with her friends when they sent chocolate to their parents back home but bought an entire box for myself instead.  I rationalized that the chocolate would be bad by the time it got to NJ!Neuhaus is sold at Saks in the US and probably online.
