Is it me more none of our wedding guest have not sent us any wedding presents from the registry? I am no bummed out and I had another melt down today on the way back from getting my wedding shoes :(

    i'm confused?? you're mad because you haven't received any gifts yet? your wedding isn't here yet, maybe your guests don't feel comfortable sending gifts via mail.. plus... you shouldn't just assume people will buy you gifts.. i have to tell myself this, i want gifts of course but i'm not really expecting them!

    The only gifts we've recieved is what I received at my shower over the weekend.  But I also try to not registry-stalk.

    ditto sarack (the first comment)...i didn't get a single wedding gift until about a week before my shower...then i got shower gifts...and nothing else was sent...at all. everything else was brought to the wedding.

    It really depends on your family/friends' culture. Both FI's side and my side are from the school where you bring it to the wedding. Friends and young folks (like cousins) might have it sent to your house ahead of time. Often, that's because if it has to be shipped anyway, you might as well ship it to the recipient and not to your house and then bring it, etc.

    For what it's worth, we've now received 3 gifts in the past two weeks. One set from my relatives who aren't able to make it, one set from a high school friend who is coming, but up from Eugene (and hence, easier to ship direct to us from Macy's rather than having to remember to put it in the car and travel 6-7 hours with it), and then from my sister who will be wrangling nephews the day of.

    lol, I am not mad at my wedding guest....I am just wondering why that is all. This wedding stuff is just overwhelming to me
