What are you guys not including in your "wedding budget", but are definitely part of the wedding/ engagement? Trying to figure out what I could keep out of the "budget" to try and stay within the "Budget parameters"! For me, it seems that I was not considering wedding bands, boudoir pics, hooneymoon, rehearsal dinner (technically different budget) and bridal party favors as part of the budget. I know, so so sad that I am trying to weasel my way out of staying in budget!

    Girly, you are really trying to not stay in budget.lolI didnt include my dress,  bpics, wedding bands or honeymoon in our budget... So all of that stuff is outside of the 20k I promised fi I won't go over!! Bridal party gifts I did include in the budget..

    I did not count the Honeymoon in my wedding budget. Or the RD since FI's parents are paying for that.Otherwise most stuff is in there...Oh and some other lil things like Candy/ Dessert Bar I didn't add to the budget.

    We are counting it all except RD and Honeymoon.  I am a huge spreadsheet lover.  LOL

    Were counting most things. I didnt count the ring bearer stuff or my garter but everything else is counted for..well except the honeymoon cause I am waiting to see if someone in my family who owns timeshares will come thru for me!

    i did not include honeymoon or rehearsal dinner.  i also did not include transportation.

    I'm not counting HM or rings. Everything else is included in my budget. I am not sure about RD, that's not on there yet, but maybe it should be, I don't know. Realistically though you need to figure out what you can afford and that's how much the total budget can be including everything.

    Thank god I'm not the only one! And I just realized that I bought a Gator garter last year when I was in Gainesville and bought my shoes (Stuart Weitzman for a great deal) several yrs ago, so those two definitely are not in the budget.I know it's bad, but actually there were many things I wasn't thinking were part of the budget, like the bridal gifts, and boudoir gifts. Since they were my expenses (technically can't make the FI or parentals pay for boudoir pics, right?!) and could easily be paid off that month on a credit card bill, I just wasn't seeing them that way.And yes, I am trying to stay within budget, which is why this is important! :)

    I'm including everything engagement/wedding realted in the budget, but I'm a huge planner, and have everything super compartmentalized. The only thing we might not be including in the budget is the honeymoon.

    We didnt include our honeymoon in the 12K we budgeted for the wedding.

    Honeymoon, and clothing for rehearsal dinner, bridal shower etc. Also FI's tux since he gets it for free.

    We're not including HM (FI's mom paid for that ) and rings, but will include RD, we're paying that.  I wasn't sure what to do about clothing for B-Pics, E-Pics, etc...I think it should realistically all go in the budget but I tend to exclude things to make myself feel better.
