Same Park Ave Club, the non-profit place that has the charities. I think the girl we met with was Jennifer. She showed us two menus. One for 150 and one for 125. there were very few differences. They were willing to waive almost all set up/chair/ceremony fees and lower the minimums. We met with her in the beginning of the summer for an Oct. 2010 wedding. She also said she could be more flexible with prices and minimums during off season and fridays/sundays. I wasnt crazy about the tent-really wanted a traditional ballroom-but it was in our top three because of how accomodating they were and I loved the cocktail hour room and general idea of a charitable organization.

That is very surprising to me as I am getting married there in Oct 2010 and that is not even close to what I was quoted, nor a few other people I know who looked there. Jennifer is also who I met with. Did she email you the menus? If so I would really appreciate if you could email them to me anisaschu at gmail. I just want to see if they are comparable and if they are I also might have some negotiating room (I wouldn't mention your name). Thank you!

Im not sure if I still have them in an email. The $150 menu was given to us and the $125 menu was being developed when we went there. I will check and see what I have and if anything Ill send them to you. Either way I would call Jennifer and ask. I dont know what kind of negotiation room you have once you book but she was really accomodating when we spoke to her.
