So I was probably right to be worried, Bree R is no longer in the area and no longer able to do my wedding.  Now i have to find someone in the area who is SUPER Affordable ( i got Bree when she first started out so i got an amazing deal) and not already booked. :( Wish me luck

    I am so sorry to hear that.. I actually loved my engagement pics from her. If I had a camera I would photograph your wedding :)  I thought Simple Life Portraits was very affordable... but I think there prices have gone up since then. I would definitely check them out. Do you already have some ideas?

    Cardens Photography is pretty affordable and willing to travel.Sorry to hear about your photog, though - what a bummer!

    No idea at all..i emaile solas b/c I heard lots of good things about them, but i have a feeling they will probably be booked they seem really popular... other then that no clue at all thanks for all the help...maybe i'll just have a bunch of knotties taking pictures :)

    We have the same wedding date and Simple Life Portraits is doing my wedding....sorry :( However, check out Kylene Krotzer, she did pics of my brother and I on Sunday for X-mas gifts for my parents and her and her husband were great to work with! You could also try Jeffrey Spayd Photography...I work with him and he does photography on the side, I have no idea what his prices are though.

    I was pleased with David Miller out of williamsport... my pictures are really good!  Except the ones with my stupid stressed-out face!

    capturedbykatephoto.net (Katie Willman)Steeser and I worked with her and I think a few others have too.  She is very affordable and based out of Harrisburg area.Good Luck!Did you give Bree a deposit?  Is she refunding it?

    yea, she is sending the deposit in the next day or so she said, but kind of upsets me that she couldn't even call to tell me after i called her a couple times.  She just emailed me. Hopefully anyone else that might be using her, can contact her and get their money back as well. Thanks i'll try her as well.  I've contacted a couple places so far and lot of places are already booked so hopefully i'll find someone. maybe i can find someone just starting out on craigslist.

    Wow Im shocked to hear that! I was one of the origional girls who used her for our E-pics, and we loved her... Did she say why she wasnt in the area/doing photography anymore?

    i know quite a few ppl on her loved her that's why I booked her, no clue just said she had some stuff happen that made her unexpectdly move out of the state.  that was it.  Hopefully she is okay and i feel bad for her but i'm still a little upset and I don't want to be b/c i'm sure it was something big but i guess that is wedding stress

    That is beyond unfortunate! I had a similar situation happen to me with the original photographer I booked...they really had communication problems with me but I booked them based on others reccommendations.Good luck in your searches!  Definitely check out Captured by Kate and Susquehanna Photographic.

    i also say captured by kate. check out her blog and if you want to see my full albums (i did e-pics, wedding, and RTD) just reply to my GTG thread and i'll give you the login info. i can give you a rave review of her personality, communication, and her final product. i have nothing bad to say at all. i know her prices went up slightly since i booked her, but i am fairly sure she is still really cheap. especially if you are recommended by someone.

    I got Bree R when she was first starting out and was running a special to just get her name out there...like 2 hours before getting ready thru the cake cutting at least for $400, which was amazing.  I wanted to stay below $700-800 which i know is really low but it's what we could afford with our budget and when i booked her that gave me an extra $400 that i spent on my dream dress so now i'm going to have to find a way to either get someone for around the same price or find somethings in the budget i can cut

    we are using creative interpretations out of mount joy. they have a package that is $800 and that includes all day coverage
