Response cards, What is wrong here?

Hi Ladies, I just got my invites, response sets and thank you cards sent in the mail. They are beautiful, however, the reply cards say on the front "Kindly respond by April 15, 2010." That's great. But the back is blank. Shouldn't they have a some sort of layout for people to write in how many are coming? They are from costco. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks!

It depends.  Did you order them with writing on them?  As in, did you see a proof before you ordered them with something like:M___________________# of guests___________I've seen blank RSVP cards before.  They're nice because usually people write a nice note and they are fun to look back at later.  But also, if people don't attend many weddings, they might not know what to do with a blank card.

If you decide to send them out as is it might be helpful to assign each couple/invitation a number and write the number small on the back of the response card, so if someone doesn't write their names on the card or you can't read their writing, then you still know who sent it back to you. We did this and it was very helpful in keeping track of all of them.

Oo I'm going to order mine from Costco as well and they have templates to order from, so I'm also wondering if you ordered blank ones or if Costco messed up? Eek!
