Venetian/Gondola?? Any thoughts? Or other similar idea? not a chapel

I was trying to think of alternatives to a chapel in Vegas...
I like the idea of the gondola in the Venetian... its different ... Has anyone done that? Pics?  Or maybe in front of a NYC building or next to something else...
Anyone have suggestions for other sites?

The gondola is beautiful, but I'm pretty sure it's bride and groom only.

We did our ceremony in the same suite as the reception, performed by DH's uncle.  It gave us the flexibility to customize our ceremony (instead of getting rushed through the pre-fab ceremony at a chapel), and it saved a TON of money and time.  Definitely recommended.

How many guests do you have?  Most of the cooler options are very limited on how many guests can attend.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

I saw pictures of people getting married on a patio downtown on freemont street. They did it during the day, but I bet at night it could look really cool! I have no idea how they went about this, but they probably had 10ish guests.

Ours was on the Terrazza at the Bellagio.  It's right on the "lake" with the fountains and lots of trees around it.  It was gorgeous and not chapel-like at all.

The Gondola is just you and the person performing the ceremony. If you want that its cool and all your guest would be intermixed with toursist watching you get married. There are a lot of options on where you can get married it just depends on how many guests you have. I know someone on here got married on the pirate ship and that looked like  an amazing wedding. Look at the profiles of the women on here a lot of them have just amazing pictures so you can see what you really want.

Mandalay Bay offers a shark reef ceremony.  Also, people have been known to get married at the Las Vegas sign.

We stayed at the Mirage and I noticed they now have options for weddings on their property.  You can get married at the Volcano or poolside.  The pool is gorgeous like a tropical paradise.
