So we rent a house, really great house! FI & I want to stay another year...plus our lease is up a couple days after we get married. Well the landlord says she can't extend our lease another year b/c of "problems she is having"...........Now I have to move 2 wks before I get married...FML

That really really sucks. But at least you know about it now so you can start looking for a place. Maybe your landlord has to move back in or sell the place. Happy house hunting!

That's what I was thinking....she tried to sell it for a year before we started renting...so maybe she has to move back into it. It just sucks big time!

Very true....look on the bright side.lynda- that is a good idea, I could email her tomorrow and ask if we could have an extra month, so move when we get back from wedding & HM

Aw that sucks :(I'm so grateful to my landlord right now. He told us he can put us on a month to month lease so we won't be kicked out on November 30th. I still want to be in a house by Christmas and was really stressing that we would have to split and live with our parents for a month or two.
