I'm so mad I missed DVKN!!

Damn FI and his need to spend time with me haha

Got my favors done this weekend! That was my last major project. The rest is smooth sailing from here on out. I also went with my cousin to her dress fitting and I LOVEEEEE my BM's dresses. They're so elegant and flattering and the girls love them, too, so that's a huge bonus.

WR: My mission for this week is to hunt down my priest and schedule a meeting to go over our ceremony so I can finish our programs!!

My 2nd dress fitting is tonight and I'm terrified it's still not going to fit.

NWR: Packing, packing, packing! 1.5 weeks till closing and then the madness begins! My MOH has been acting really flaky and strange lately so I'm going to call her today and see if we can get together for a dinner date or something. She moved to PA with her new husband and has since fallen off the face of the earth.

This weekend was a blur, I feel like it went by so fast! We got the template for our escort cards done though, so that's good. Those were a much bigger PITA than I thought they'd be, and we haven't even printed or punched anything out yet!

WR this week: I have to send a follow up email to our officiant since I haven't heard from her in a while. Also have to get the RD guest list to my dad, and FI is FINALLY finishing the box for our wine ceremony. We should probably start assembling favors soon too, but those will be pretty easy to do.

NWR: I have a wedding shower to go to on Saturday (how did something WR make its way into my NWR part of the post?!!), and I think that's about it? Otherwise same ol' same ol.

Almost to the one month mark!!

we have lots of house stuff to take care of...we are signing our home insurance paperwork tomorrow, scheduling some cleaners to go in and do a deep clean before we move in (mekiakoo my fiance suggested that we do this, and I thought about you guys and the hair/grossness you found in your house, and was like YES this is a necessity!!), and finding a painter to do total-interior painting before we move in. yikes. we also need to buy some boxes and start doing some major packing!! we are planning to move the last weekend of June!

My weekend was a total BLUR. Inspection and date night with fiance on Friday, wedding all day Saturday (it was beautiful and amazing and nearly perfect but I drank WAY too much), and fiance and I were hungover and blobby yesterday at my cousin's graduation brunch and ceremony. I am still exhausted! but it was all worth it.

We ordered some photo thank you cards to use for our pre-wedding gifts that are really adorable, I can't wait to get them in!

This week we have our final meeting with our photographers, they are taking us to dinner because they like us so much they just want to hang out with us, haha! I am excited about it. We also are going to work on addressing our rehearsal dinner invitations.

This weekend I am going to work on some DIY projects with my momma while my fiance is out camping for his bachelor party.

THis weekend Flew by!! And DVKN was so fun

We had a wedding on saturday which was so nice! Loved just about everything. They did an ice cream bar that was awesome (I am a HUGE fan of ice cream haha) the venue was really cool as well.. had a rustic kind of feel. And the Bride looked AMAZING! FI is so cute- yesterday he texted me after he left work and said " The next time i see you in a dress at a wedding is when you'll be the most beautiful bride ever!!

Yesterday we had our engagement pictures taken (i will post pics in another thread). This week I am finishing up shower thank you cards and working on our ceremony programs.

Well I lost my brand new phone on Friday, so I have been on the phone with my cell provider and the insurance company all weekend to figure stuff out. Ugh.

WR: Going for my second fitting on Wednesday, hopefully my dress fits. That is my fear that it will not.

NWR: Nada. Just relaxation.

YAY for Monday!! It's my first day of summer vacation! Sorry, I had to tell the world. Haha.

Today I'm going to wait by the window and attack the UPS guy who came last week and didn't leave a package. He left a note saying it was from a town in Florida where my grandparents used to live. The thing is that they're both dead. Grandpa has been dead for five years now, Grandma has been dead for a year and half. WHO sent us the package?! Creeeeppyyyyy. He's supposed to be here between 10:30-2:00.

Had our combined shower yesterday with FI's cousin- it was a lot of fun! We got awesome gifts. I can't believe how nice people are. We asked for one set of sliverware, but FI's grandparents got us two sets and they were $100 each. Awwwww.

No idea what I'm doing this week. Don't have a lot of WR things to do. Probably start working around the house- start creating a garden that we can start next year. Paint our outdoor doors- they're peeling. The sellers must have used an indoor paint for the doors. How stupid.

I have my final dress fitting on Wednesday. I plan to finish up desiginging my programs. I also put together my background for escort cards (?). We are going to have names and table numbers hung by ribbon on one large board, and then there will be their names at their seat at the table. I'm doing them as each RSVP comes in so I don't get overwhelmed.

I made the mistake of making our RSVP date 6/10 (for a 7/14) wedding because I wanted plenty of time to contact those who didn't send one back in. I just think I made it too early and now people will not send it back because they aren't sure (OOT Wedding). I'm sure I'm over thinking it.

We also plan to finalize and pay off the rest of our cake this week. I'm excited to have that done.

Hi ladies! I had a work-filled weekend, which was stupid. It was my one year engagement anniversary but I was stuck here all day so fiance went to go play golf.

Oh well.

WR: Need to finalize songs for the band. I've asked fiance to do it probably 1232897 times so hopefully he actually does. (He cares much more than I do, so I told him to come up with a list and I would veto if I didn't like a selection -- which will probably not happen because I don't feel like coming up with anything else.) Also need to do programs.

Shower this Saturday down at my beach house!

Also, we're getting our immunizations for Africa tomorrow morning. I really hope they don't make me sick because I have wayyyy too much to do to be out of commission.

NWR: Work? Is there anything else? Oh and I should probably shop for some bachelorette party stuff since I leave next Weds.

B2B- I also need to do my songs. We are renting the equipment for $150.00 and having a friend DJ. He did his sisters wedding and it went perfectly, so we saved a ton. He emailed me a list of what music he has, so now I have to pick songs to add to it and it seems terrible.

Happy Monday!

We still have a ton to do, so this next couple of weeks will be very busy. I'm finally feeling better after being pretty much out of commision most of May due to a horrible migraine followed by the stomach flu. This weekend was very busy, we had my son's and my step-son's birthday parties sat and sun. This week we still need to pick our music (lol), meet w/ the pastor and finish picking up and ordering our ceremony supplies and decorations. I am also meeting with our cake lady to finally decide on a cake design. And tonight I have my boudoir photo shoot! I am excited

And FI has no idea i'm doing this. This Sunday is my daughter's second birthday, I can't hardly believe it. We will be busy!

Taking my future step daughter to her bridesmaid dress fitting on Wednesday. Hopefully get an update on the major alterations that the seamstress is doing to my dress... I'm so worried about it - i keep having bad dreams about and thinking I should look for a second dress that is returnable in case mine doesn't work out...

I have a ton of WR stuff to do so I'm gald that school is out and I have plenty of time.

I need to design our programs and escort cards. We are meeting with our DJ on Wednesday so that he can give us some suggestions for ceremony and reception music. Choosing music has been one of the hardest things for us. I need to schedule our dance lessons, and a final meeting with our florists. I want to start putting our favors together and I have my first dress fitting on Friday. I leave for my bachelorette party next Wednesday we're going to Vegas. I'm so excited!! I have some last minute shopping I need to do for that as well.

NWR: The usual... I need to run some errands, do laundry and clean the house. I have a dentist appointment on Tuesday and I'm going to lunch with on of my BM on Thursday. Saturday is mudd volleyball and that will be a blast. I have a lot to do.

I wish this wasn't another rainy Monday

. We did get a lot of errands done this weekend and stuff for the wedding done, such as ceremony music at the church and all our WP gifts.

WR - I have a meeting with the priest tomorrow and my fitting on Wednesday. I need to figure out my songs for the reception before my meeting next Monday with the DJ. After tomorrow's meeting I can work on my programs. I really also need to work on my DIY's this week at nights.

NWR - Just normal school, work, house stuff. We have a dinner for my dad and sister's birthdays this Saturday night. Hopefully it will be nice out this weekend so I can work on my tan!

WR - This week for FI and I we are working on our 1st Dance choreography. We are choreographing the dance on our own! Dancing to Somewhere Beyond the Sea sung by Bobby Darin. We are doing mainly a foxtrot with a little bit of swing added. And of course, lots of fun spins and dips
