I forgot to mention in my numerous posts today that our marriage license is lost at sea! We were in such a rush to leave we forgot to mail it out. On our Carnival cruise while in Key West we asked the pursers desk if they could mail out some things since we were still in the state. They said "Sure, no problem". Then we came home to find out that the post cards we sent out with the license never arrived! Now no one can find our marriage license! They say to wait but the clerk of courts said we only have 10 days after the wedding to send it in. I am livid! I called Carnival and they said that they are only allowed to mail out post cards while out to sea. Anything other than that they have to wait to get back to the embarkation port to send it out. I called the clerk of courts today and they have yet to receive it! I have checks made out to my married name that were given as gifts that I can't even cash! Ugggh damn you Carnival cruiselines!
