fiftyflowers.com

Hi Has anyone gotten flowers from www.fiftyflowers.com ? I cannot find the combo that I like anywhere else for the price...so I am just wondering if I can get any first hand reviews from anyone. Thanks so much! Jessica

I have used them for showers and parties.  They were great to work with and the flowers were fresh and beautiful.  Watch for their discount too.

Good to hear, thank you! How do I know when they are having specials?

I'm a little late on this, but I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding last year and they used www.fiftyflowers.com for the table centerpieces, boutonnieres, and door/entrance arrangements (they ordered the bouquets from a local florist because she was worried about not having enough time to DIY).  She and her mom both said they saved a lot of money by ordering online and that the people they spoke with were really friendly and helpful.  And I thought their flowers were gorgeous!  I was considering doing this for my centerpieces also...however, I doubt I will only because I have allergies and very little space in my house to keep them cool.  I suggest researching the types of flowers before you order and see how long they take to bloom because my friend and her mother scheduled hers to arrive about 4 days before the wedding and kept them all in a designated room with a closed door and air conditioner on at all times to keep them cool.  The website (or lady she spoke to) said these particular flowers (can't remember what kind) would bloom after "4 days" and sure enough, they did and it was on the day of the wedding!  Anyway, sorry I don't remember all of the specifics (it's been over a year..) but I hope this helps at least a little!  Good luck! Katie

Hey Jessica!  Another thing I forgot to mention (you might have already thought of this) is you may want to also research which flowers have pollen that sheds or rubs off because the wholesale websites do not remove the pollen for you like a florist would.  A lot of people don't think of this when buying flowers online.  We had to be very careful with some lilies that my friend bought for her wedding because it could have very easily stained her dress or temporarily her skin.  She didn't think of this before buying the flowers, but luckily we didn't use them in bouquets anyway, just the entrance to the reception hall.  Actually, I would probably stay away from flowers that shed pollen altogether just to play it safe because it would be shame for something to happen to your dress or anyone else's clothing.  But that's just a suggestion!Katie

Thanks so much!  I appriciate it.  I would not have thought about that.  I don't think I will have anything to worry about with my flowers, but I will check into that!
