8 Days!!

Any ideas on last minute things that I should be thinking of?? I have a feeling if I don't write down everything now, I definitely will be in la-la land as the days progress. Thanks!

Oh good call! Definitely something I hadn't thought of!

Today I've been emailing and confirming locations, delivery times, contact info and outstanding balances for all of my vendors. It's definitely helping to put my mind at ease! :)

Maybe bring along a steamer to straighten your dress/bm's dresses the morning of? Last wedding I was in we had one and it was helpful! Woo hoo - have fun on your day!

Mols... one thing i just thought of to addd to the list.. confirm w/ your reception site a secure place for gifts to go, and how they will handle that.. i'm an overly trusting person, but i've heard way too many horror stories on here about how staff took gift cards etc.

Wow great call. Will do, thanks Pep! :) Good luck this weekend with all of the last minute stuff, I've begun emailing people with little jobs: "Can you hand out programs?", "If I give you well labled envelopes can you deliver these checks to vendors?", "Can you take all the gifts after the wedding so I can get them from your house on Sunday?" etc. There are so many little things to remember it's ridiculous! :)

5 days Mols!!!! Other things I've thought of that can help... I put a Index Card for everyday leading up to the wedding on a corkboard, and everytime I think of something that needs to be done I put it on one of hte index cards so I know exactly when I can do it. I declared a time after which I will do nothing wedding related, my "deadline" is Wednesday night. After that I relax! Getting in touch w/ the Groomsmen! I realized that its good for me to keep them up to date, because who knows what my groom has told them! Start making piles for honeymoon stuff, clothes, etc. Are you working this week?!

I know it's so exciting and so... SOON! I've been doing the index card thing, too. I am queen of the lists right now! I've had FI pass along our "itinerary" to the groomsmen as well, which is SUPER important. I am working this week (off Thurs/Fri), unfrotunately, and work is BUSY, which is challenging because I'm having trouble concentrating as it is. I would LOVE to be more or less done by Wednesuday night and then all I would have to do is deliver centerpieces to reception site, deliver out of town welcome bags. Right now it's just LOTS of little things: * Packing for rehersal dinner/wedding day/post wedding brunch as I will stay in the hotel Fri/Sat. * Get pen for geust book * Finish making programs * Finalize seating chart and make place cards One thing that you may want to throw together is a day-of emergency kit: floss, gum, bandaids, safety pins, shout wipes, deoderant, etc... Really helpful! Good luck with all of your final details! :)
