grooms attire

I know most of us talk about what us and our girls wear but I am trying to plan ahead for our guys and their attire. What does a tux/suit typically run, I have heard like $69 is what they start out at Friar Tux but I am unsure because is that the ugly powder blue ones or a decent one? Any ideas? Also how long in advance should you go look into them?

    Ahh...ha ha you are so funny. I don't know if you could find a powder blue one anymore but that would be pretty rad!!! First off, does your FI want a tux? Many guys are wearing suits and perhaps he already owns one or would like to buy one that he could use again for work/events. On the other hand--if this is just for the one day and he won't use it again then, yes, rent it.--Men's Wearhouse or Friar Tux. I think he could get something between $70 and $150 that would be pretty nice.

    I dont know about Friar Tux but I know that Mens Wearhouse will give you the grooms tux rental for free if you have 3 GM's rent their tux from there. They start out around $60ish and that is for the basic black tux (you are too funny with the powder blue!) and go up from there. They have designer tuxes which makes the price go up and it depends on what kind of vest and shirt you choose as well. If you are trying to stay within a certain $ amount then I would be sure and ask the price of the different pieces as he tries them on so you can keep them budget friendly. I wish we would have done that because our tuxes ended up being $175 and the GM's were not very happy about it

    I think the tux's we got were $160 but that included shoes as well.

    Yeah we didnt do ours until like 2 weeks before the wedding lol We went to Friar tux and I think the ones we chose were like 125 with shoes. Our guys wore all black with red ties, DH wore all black, and the dads wore all black with grey ties.
