Something Borrowed

I need something creative for something borrowed

Re: Something Borrowed

  • I am the MOH so I am just trying to think. She wants something borrowed from me, but I cant think.
  • my borrowed was my veil. you could let her borrow a pin or brooch or something for her bouquet....
  • My something borrowed was my mother's pearls.
  • I am planning to have several borroweds. My veil from a friend, jewelry from FMIL's collection, an antique hanky from a friend, and possibly one of my and/or FI's grandmothers rosaries, Neither one of us is Catholic, but they are family heirlooms. Heck, I am all about borrowing.

  • I wish I could help here. I wanted to do this, but as of right now, I have no borroweds. I almost had one with my mom's earrings ... then my mom proceeded to BUY me a pair of earrings. I would suggest either a piece of jewelry, or maybe something she could pin to her bouquet or something. Also, if her dress has a lot of layers to the skirt, she could pin something to the insided of her skirt.

  • My mom lent me her mother's earrings to wear and I forgot.Oops.
  • I'm borrowing my sister's tiara....otherwise I was having a hard time figuring this one out too.
  • Mine was my friends purse, only I didn't carry it down the aisle. Actually, it stayed in the bridal suite. I'm sure I'm not jinxed. ;-)
  • Any good ideas for the something blue, other than a garter, that is? I picked out my garter for my FH and the blue did not suit him. But, I'd still like to have something blue. I just need a creative idea.
  • I borrowed a friend's petty coat to wear, and bought the CUTEST blue sparkly ballet flats to wear as my blues.  Normally the sparkly wouldn't appeal to me, but I'm getting married on NYE and all that bling will be appropriate! :)
  • How about a boa from Sue and Mary's tiara, oh Fawn's red sneakers...so many choices.
  • I married a couple where the Bride had a special coin made in the year the Groom was born. She had it dangling from the strap on her shoe. She had borrowed it from the Groom's mother.
