Me too. I have one thing of eyeshadows. I almost always wear brown but sometimes I wear green (ohhh wild and crazy!) I have other things I'd rather spend my money on.
I don't use a ton of makeup either. It's just lipstick and powder during the week. I might put on some eyeshadow if I have extra time in the morning. I will make more of an effort if I'm going out.
What Hooka said. I have decided that 31 was the year of the makeup and 32 is going to be the year of the hair. I'm going to learn how to have a hair do. For realsies.Makeup is a lot of trial and error. I supposed the same is true of the hair.
MinM, I feel you on the hair. A couple weeks ago I had an appointment for a haircut, and I decided that I was going to get a style rather than just a trim and let my hair do what it wants. So I looked on the internet for images of styles for long, wavy hair, and there just aren't any. They're all my messy-ass hair in various colors and lengths.
Being all dolled up for SIL's wedding last weekend makes me want to be pretty like that all the time. Someone teach me how to apply eye liner and do a smokey eye!!!
It is a lot of trial and error. And you need to pick a look and keep practicing at it. It's not going to be great the first time, but the time you FINALLY get it, it's miraculous.
Trial & error, you say .. well, I'm off next Wednesday (Veteran's Day) & might stop by the MAC counter (or store, there is one here) & I'll keep y'all posted! Tks, ladies!
