I'm having an outdoor ceremony by a lake. I want to rent white chairs for the ceremony. Unfortunately, the only ones I can find are plastic. They actually look okay from afar, but they aren't the sturdiest things. I would prefer wooden, but just can't find anyone in town that rents white ones. They do have silver and black however. My colors are bright pink, orange and yellow and white (like gerbera daisies) so I don't think silver or black would really work. I plan on decorating the aisle chairs with flowers, but really do not like chair covers. Do I:

i'm in a similar situation - the best and most comfortable chairs to rent are actually plastic garden (stackable) chairs. they are fine for an outdoor ceremony but we are also bringing them in for the reception. to cut back on cost, we are not doing chair covers and chair rental so how can i dress up the chairs tastefully so that they look somewhat classy or fun and not chintzy? any ideas are welcome!
