Bachelorette Party

Alright so I am trying to decide what to do for the bachelorette party.  It will be in Columbus and I want to do something that is almost all day.  I don't really drink so bar hoping is not an option.  I also don't want to do anything that will break the bank b/c I don't want that pressure on my bridesmaids and friends.  We are already thinking Shadowbox in the evening, any other ideas???

    north market
    gallery hop
make your own candles (candle lab in worthington rocks)
aveda salon for spa service (cheaper because they're students)
    easton strolling
taking a workout class together (for zumba columbus, your first visit is free, no matter how many of you there are)
check into a hotel with a pool and go swimming
hmmm...brain is drifting. time to hit submit.

Zoo, Cosi, CAPA summer movie series, Picnic with the Pops (depending on when it is), a festival (again timing is key), scrapbooking / card making (I know Archiver's has classes and other places would probably organize something for a group)

    Good luck!

Some things we tossed around, other than what Miss Owl suggested:

Reading trashy magazines and painting nails at Goodale park
    Getting icecream from Jeni's
    Touring Graeter's
    Taking a cooking class
    Having a baking party

Ohh I like Combs idea of a baking party!  My extended family has "Cookie Day" every year before Christmas where we get together and bake and decorate cookies for about 8 hours.  We bring movies and music and it is always a blast!

    Also you could:
    paint pottery
got to Shakespeare in the park
    take a pole dancing class
go to a Clippers game (I don't love baseball, but I still have fun going because it is a really nice stadium)

We went bar hopping in the Arena District and Short North. Nothing fancy, but it was fun. One of my BM's wasn't in town yet and the other was under age, so it was just a few of us.

just heard a radio ad for a place downtown (3rd and long) called Fleur. it's apparently a Champagne, Vodka and Cupcake bar! I'm going to dinner with a friend tomorrow and I think we might spend our calories there :) if we go, i'll let you know how it is.

Volunteering somewhere, like the dog shelter or food bank, would make for an interesting and memorable day. :)  Along the same lines you could find a 5K for a cause to do together, walking or running. You could do team t-shirts too.
