LEDs vs. real candles

I'm thinking of using LED votives around our cake rather than real candle votives. Has anyone been to a wedding with LED candles? How did it look? Any thoughts on this? I don't want it looking fake or cheap... Thanks!

    We used LEDs at our wedding because we had luminaries and were worried that they would catch fire.  I would not recommend LEDS without something hiding them - like frosted vases of some sort.  AS long as you can't see them, they give off a beautiful light.  If you just stick a bunch of them on a table, it will look like a bunch of cheap lights IMO.
