Sunset Gardens

We are thinking about having our wedding/reception at Sunset Gardens. My FI is nervous about the planes. We are paying for everything ourselves and their packages seem the most reasonable. Has anyone used Sunset Gardens?? Can anyone give me the scoop if they are great or not?

    My MoH has been to a couple of weddings there and says that the place is nice.  However, you are across the street from the airport.  You may not have noise issues inside, but it can be loud outdoors.

    My friend got married at sunset gardens, we never heard an airplane... it's on sunset road, which is not directly accross from the airport... the airport startes at eastern road.  What day is your wedding? I live on sunet further down the road (stephanie street) and the busiest time for incomming planes is thursday and friday evenings.

    i have been to a couple weddings there and plane nosie has never been an issue.

    We have put our despoit down at Sunset Gardens. We are going for a Friday evening wedding. We figured that even if there are planes it's not like we will be out there for the ceremony too long. Thanks for the comments. =)

    I have a quick question - you said your friend got married at Sunset Gardens - did she use their photographer?  Did she like her pictures?  Did he work well with her?  Sorry to be asking all these questions but I am starting to freak out about the photgrapher and just don't want to run out of time (3 1/2 months to go) to get another one if need be.
