Pocket Folio Invites

Hello, all,I am new to this board but have been on my local board and The Dress. I am moving into the phase of picking out invitations.  It doesn't seem feasible to do DIY since I don't have a quality printer.  I'd love to get pocket folio invites...anyone know of a CHEAP place to get them?  My wishes are pretty simple as far as design; I am most concerned with getting all of the information regarding my wedding weekend to my guests in hard copies.  Suggestions? TIA!

Re: Pocket Folio Invites

  • I can't suggest that, I'm not even close to that far yet. But, if you really want to DIY, you can always print someplace like Kinko's.  It's actually really reasonable, and obviously professional.

  • cardsandpockets.com has a ton of pocket folds and paper.  I second PP who said go to kinkos to have them printed, or if you go with cardsandpockets you can up load your invite in a pdf and they will print it for you.
  • You can't get cheap pockets.  You especially can't get CHEAP pockets.  They don't exist.

  • Second  go to the DYI board and cardandpackets.com. I made card pockets invites they are in my bio. When you make them they are still not cheap, they are middle range price but they are cheaper then then buying them.
  • Thank you, everyone! I will definitely check out your recs.  I'm hoping to keep them at $4.00... (or less if this is at all possible).  I actually just found some people on Etsy, too, who will do them for around this price but trying to figure out how trusting I am.  Thank you again! :)
  • I think you can keep pocketfolds below $4 each. Cardsandpockets.com is having a 25% off sale till 11/18. That's probably where I'll get mine when we need em next year. Their website and blog is really helpful in showing how to design and assemble them.
  • Oh wow.  We have different scales of cheap.  I hope you can get pockets for less than $4.00.

  • My pocketfolds and cardstock came out to under $2 each using cardsandpockets easy order kits.  I am doing a pocket fold, invitation mat, invitation and 3 inserts all on mats as well, so you can keep them under $4 no problem!  I also found a desiggner on etsy who designed my invites and inserts and sent them to me in a pdf, I will go to kinkos and print them myself.  The design was $30 and the printing will cost me $.59 per page (each invite takes up 2 pages, invite on one page and all the inserts on the second), so another $1.18 for the printing.
  • I think she was meaning that the whole invitation for less than $4.00 which you can do pretty easily.  I understand your intimidation with etsy, but I do strongly recommend it if you are maybe looking that route.  I've had nothing but great experiences on etsy!

  • Thank you, all, again!  I am feeling much better about this whole process!  You are accurate, TheSaltyPeanut, $4.00 when it's all said and done.  :)
