  Length really doesn't matter unless it's an uber-formal wedding. Catholic churches don't usually have rules about what you can/can't wear. Why not take your BMs shopping and have them try on some of the colors you are thinking? And be flexible too--I had my heart *set* on short green dresses and we wound up w/ long coral dresses that looked better on them and I absolutely loved. Don't overthink it, have fun with it!

  Ditto PP, have them try on some different colors, lengths and fabrics and go from there. You also don't need to stick with JUST those three colors. You could have them wear black, chocolate brown, a latte color, maybe even white if you want. Or use a different shade of pink than you're already using, and you can have different shades of pink in the whole color scheme. And you don't have to work those colors into your official color scheme.

  THat is SO my dress too! I am ordering in December. I think any color would accent that color scheme, but I am partial to a soft pink, given the options you presented. A softer pink would match the romantic nature of the dress without matching the colors exactly. For summer, I would go with knee-length. IMO, tea length is not flattering on most people, and It might be too hot in June for floor length. I have the same dress, but my colors are ivory, purple and green, so my MOHs will most probably be in purple, and it will still match.

  As others have said, have the girls try on different styles and colors. You might find a something that is not exactly one of your colors but blends with everything. Watters has a color called Acorn. It comes across as an antique gold. It's very pretty when you don't want a bright, metallic gold.

  Those are all warm colors, so depending on your bridesmaids' skin tone, they may have trouble finding a shade that works for them.What about having them in a spectrum of pink?  That way each girl can choose the shade that is most flattering for her.  You can go anywhere from having them all in the same dress but in a chosen color, to having them choose any dress from any designer, as long as it's some variety of pink.I think for a summer wedding, you'd want something shorter, unless it's a super formal evening thing.

  Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

  Many shades of those colors are difficult to wear, depending on complexion.  Knee length black or white dresses with different sashes could be pretty - varying shades of champagne, light pink and gold.

  I would be careful of lighter colors, they can really wash out people with certain complexions.  I wore a latte colored BM dress once...  not a flattering color on any of us in the BP.  When your BMs go to try on dresses, make sure they try on a dress in the exact color, even if it isn't the exact dress.  It doesn't matter how pretty the dress is, if the color isnt flattering...My colors are pink and green, but my girls are wearing black.  With the flowers and possibly a sash as suggested above, the colors will be worked in.  Both of my girls prefer to wear black, can re-use the dress and will feel more comfortable in it during the ceremony and reception...

  Thanks for all the great advice girls, I have a lot of things to think about now.  We will have to go shopping (too bad all of their tastes are so different).  I did think about black, but my fiancee was not into it.  P.S. Sarah it is such a pretty dress, I am glad you love it too!

  I just did BM dress shopping this past weekend and what worked out well was bringing everyone to try on dresses, when we found a dress that everyone seemed to like, I had everyone try it on and give thier opinion and I took a pictures of someone in the dress. Then at the end of the day we took a secret ballot vote. Everyone got to vote on thier favorite dress and how much they were willing to spend. It worked out really great and was an efficiant process. Remember it's your wedding too, but you want your BM to look good and feel good in the dresses too.
