Can BM's wear latte while men black tuxes?!?!

Hey ladies I'm having wedding color issues. My colors are clover and latte (green and light brown) from David's Bridal. My BM dresses are clover with a latte sash. Will the latte look funny with black tuxes? I was planing on getting the tuxes from Men's warehouse because the coordinate with DB. Any idea's on Tux colors if you thing latte will look funny with Black. I'm against brown and black together but latte is a light brown and it's only the sash and shoes... oh I don't know. I've already had my heart set on invitation and linens in these colors. Help Please!!   If you want to see the dress click clover for the dress and latte for the sash to see the color combo. http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplayView?storeId=10052&catalogId=10051&catentryId=1000541

I think a black tux (on the GM) will look really great. I don't think you can go wrong with all black - it's a classic look no matter what. My BMs are wearing Tiffany Blue and it's a very specific color; I haven't been able to find a good coordinating color for the GMs tuxedo's, so they will just wear black. I'm wearing ivory so my FI will also wear ivory, so he won't blend in with everyone.Hope that helps! BTW, those are pretty dresses!

Black tuxes are pretty classic and it would look fine. Although, I was just at a wedding where they wore brown tuxes while the ladies wore maroon dresses and that looked great, too.

My fiance is all about black tuxes (one of the very few things he is specific about - lol) and our colors are baby pink, champagne, and dark brown.  If you google pictures, you can see that it works fine.  Like pp, black is classic :)

You're right, I do see lots of pictures of brown and black attire. They tend to be a dark brown though. Does anyone know if men's warehouse has light brown tuxes. Also whats the difference between a tux and a suit... they look the same to me. haha

I think black tuxes on the guys would look the best. I think it's a very classic look. I understand your opposition to black and brown, however that's what the guys are going to be wearing if you have them in a brown vest or tie. Personally (and this is my opinion), I think that matching the guys tuxes to the girls dresses is a bit tacky. Our colors are navy with pink accents and the guys will be wearing black tuxes.

I think the black tuxes will be just fine. In the words of Stacy and Clinton from What Not to Wear (love that show) brown and black are both neutrals, so they "go". What about the guys wearing a latte colored vest? Or maybe latte vest with clover tie?

Oh and P.S. we were just at David's bridal this weekend and there was a MW next door. My mom was looking to buy a swatch of the vest fabric, and since they didn't have it, they let her just take a whole vest LOL! So if you have a MW next to a DB, you could try that and see them together to decide.

We had latte dresses and black tuxes and it looked fine. I'm pretty sure there are some pics in my married bio. There is something about the clover and latte combo that is rubbing me the wrong way though... but they may look different in person.

Our girls had Chocolate dresses with Taupe sashes and the guys wore Black tuxes with taupe vests and ties.  It looked really cute and coordinated.
