...hi, Dr. Nick.I was away last week. Mark is doing really well...he's even doing a bit of work this week. His next treatment is going to he the 25th of November, and then they're going to stop treatments until after the new year. He's starting to lose a wee bit of hair. I'm not quite convinced it's from the chemo yet, but he is. Fishy - don't hate - I drove through Fargo on Friday night. Stopped at the funny looking McDonald's.  I was in Minneapolis from Wed-Fri, and my sister sent my mom witha huge order from Ikea, so we went home through Fargo/GForks and went to Winnipeg to deliver.

    Oh you were so close to me!  Did you see the giant chairs when you drive back past GF?I'm glad to hear Mark is doing well.  I was actually thinking about you guys this weekend and hoping you'd update us.

    It actually wasn't that planned to come back that way. We didn't go any earlier than what I had to go for the meetings, but my sister found out she was pregnant and called on the Thursday, and wanted my mom to pick up a new bed, dresser, etc. for her 3 year old. So it was kinda late to try to make plans Fishy, sowwy :(JK - I did see the huge chair - just on the south side of GF right? At that little strip mall?

    I know, I'm pissed at myself, too. I'm sure we'll be going again soon. Mark's actually talking about maybe going to MN for New Years, if he's up to it. 2 of our friends are going to be in Mexico, another is pregnant - and she's already just avoiding us, so we might do that. He's never been to Ikea.

    Glad to hear Mark is doing so well with his treatments and you're upbeat :) Always good to hear positive news like that. We were in Minneapolis last March, but didn't brave the Ikea. J has been in there; we just did Mall of America.  Maybe we'll head up to do some Christmas shopping, although I doubt I can sell J on that....

    I am glad Mark is doing well given the circumstances. I went through chemo treatments, hair loss and the whole thing with my husband. It can be extremely difficult to go through. Take good care, and my thoughts are with you.

    Mandy...I know. I wasn't sure what my travel plans were until last minute - I couldn't decide if I actually wanted to go to this meeting given everything that's going on. Then we decided last minute to drive. Was going to be a quick in/out thing. Just took a detour home. On another note - I thought Fargo and Minneapolis were closer together. Why I thought that? I have no idea.
