General Update...

So, my internet has been out at my house since Wednesday afternoon. It's actually still out, so I fled the country... Just kidding, I was planning to travel to Dallas anyway ;) It's nice to be back on! Oscar's gastritis got worse - he had to spend a night with the vet and get his meds via IV since he was throwing up. He's back home and much better now. But my husband did have to give him a supository last night - now he says I owe him BIG TIME ;)

    Poor Oscar!!  And, I'm SURE H just LOOOVED that.....Do they know what caused the gastritis? I'm glad to hear he's doing better. How long are you in Dallas, Expat?

    I was really worried about your little dog, especially when everyone was telling you to wait it out. My vet told me the smaller dogs need to be brought in if they are consistently throwing up as the smaller breeds get dehydrated faster. In any case, I am really glad Oscar is on the mend.

    Yikes!  Poor little thing.  I love how vets say in a matter of fact voice, just stick this up here or give a cat a pill like there is no risk whatsoever of the dog or cat drawing blood out your arm like a pro.
