Event Manager- Etiquette?

Good Morning, Do you think I should tip the Event Mananger who is staff of the resturant that we're having the reception at? We didn't hire him, we didn't even know he was a part of it, until after we signed our contract. However, its not his personal business, and he will be a great help, I just don't even know where to begin on what is an appropriate tip for somebody like him? Thanks!

    Check the fine print on your contract... most include an additional "service fee" of x% of the total, specifically for the folks who work at your event.That said, a tip is ALWAYS appropriate if you feel that he provided outstanding service.
