Bridesmaids

How many of you are having your girls have the same hair style and shoes?  I was thinking about this, but all my girls have very different hair, and one style might not work with another girl. So maybe, I will do same shoes, different hair..

I am not into having clones or forcing my BMs to do their hair in certain style.I told them they can do their hair hair as they want and for shoes I picked a color and told them they can where what is comfortable for them.

Matching shoes I can kind of understand if the dresses are short ... but even then, if you just say "silver strappy sandals" or "black pumps," they can find their own and people won't notice or care about the difference. Matching hair is just creepy and weird. Who cares about their hair? I don't get the need to make them match. Really, people do not give a crap and your photos will not be ruined if their shoes and hair are not identical. These people are your friends and have their own styles, not robots to make your wedding look prettier. And if you're requiring shoes/hair to match (or even if you're making them get professional hairstyles, even if they can pick the style), then you need to pay for it.

If the dresses are short or tea length agree with matching shoes (or atleast color), but gowns, not really necessary. And hair, let them choose their own :)

they were clones of one another.

Even if my girls were in the same dress I would never ask them to wear the same shoes or same hair.Everyone is different, some people can wear certain shoes, others cannot, some feel comfortable with their hair up some do not.  Do not do that hair and if youre set on the same shoes, make sure they ALL like and can walk in them.  IMO same shoes are pointless.

my BMs had matching shoes(their choice). I told them they could do their hair however they wanted but I ask that they keep it simple and no wild colors.

For hair let them do what they want.  The same style reminds me of cheerleaders.Shoes - I said silver.  As long as they were comfortable in them I didn't give a hoot.

same as most pp's...i told them all they had to do was show up wearing the dress we picked out and black shoes...makeup, hair, jewlery etc was their own choice...i think one had strappy shoes, one had platforms, one has short hair, 2 have really long hair, one has crazy piercings....they're all so different its hard to make them do the same thing...well, except make them wear the same dress....that i had no problem with...

I told my girls silver shoes, any kind they want. They can also do their hair as they wish. Are there dresses long? If so, then who is really going to see whether they are the same or not?

My girls wore black shoes so I told them to wear whatever they wanted.  We tossed around the idea of having them wear red shoes, but I decided against it because I thought if we did red shoes, then they really should be an identical color, which would be tough.I'm tall- I really wouldn't want to have to wear matching shoes with a long dress (the dress might become too short). I do think it can look nice on short dresses. As for hair- I wouldn't be too fond of matching.  Everyone just has such different hair and lengths. I let my girls wear whatever style they wanted.

my girls had the same color dress, same material, same cocktail length skirt, all had silver shoes - but they all had all different tops, all different hair styles, and different style shoesi had girls w/ short and long hair, blond and dark hair, big and skinny, and short and tall...so there was no way these girls would all look great in the same style...they were all very happy w/ their outfits.

I gave them a choice of four dresses and they picked the same dress.  I did pick out shoes for them, only because I just asked them to wear a certain color and they were having trouble finding the color so eventually I was just like ,"hey how about these" and they all liked them.Hair, make-up and jewelry is all up to them.

My BM picked their own dress style (all same fabric, color, and lenght) they picked their own shoes (as long as they were brown) did whatever they wanted with their hairI bought them all matching earringsAll look at this good looking bridal party!

My girls all chose their own dresses (same color, designer, fabric), had different hairstyles (unless I wanted some of them with extensions or asked others to chop their hair, there was no way they were all having the same hair style), and different shoes (all black, some flat, some heels, some strappy, some peep toes, whatever they wanted).  For what it is worth, I have never been in a wedding where the BM's wore the same shoes or had the same hair.

My girls had a short dress so I asked that they all wear the same shoe - so long as they were comfortable wearing the high heel that I chose (which they were) They all picked their hairstyle - I gave them suggestions but they all just did what they wanted I agree that same hair will look weird...especially if they are all wearing the same dress

my girls the same dress, but I didn't give a hoot about matching hair or shoes.  If they had knee/tea length dresses, I just MIGHT have cared and wanted the shoes to match.
