    Weird! No one ever knows where that is! I only lived there for about 6 months. It was annoying because I still worked in Baltimore at the time and the commute sucked. :)

    We are actually going down there for Christmas this year. It's a nice area and I love how it's so close to both DC and Baltimore. SIL goes to Towson and it's a nice distance from that too. Seems like a good place to be!

    PS - Every single time we go there, DH goes the wrong way. He actually listens to his POS GPS which takes him the long way around DC on the Beltway. I had to follow him once on the Beltway. At rush hour. In the pouring rain. I hated my life for those 45 minutes.

    You do not want to do that. You want to take 295. It's so much easier to go around/through Baltimore. Let me know if you are free ever for a Maryland-ish type GTG! I went to Towson too and that's where I live now. I am not sure if I ever told you that, but it's true.

    It's funny, but even though we know that we still go the wrong way every single time. Then we realize it and I start swearing at the GPS. :)My BM went to Towson too - I actually spent NYE there this past year. What a nice area!I will definitely let you know - we'll be down there for 4-5ish days and I will most likely need a break from MIL. It's just a matter of whether or not she'll let me escape! Haha.

    Uh, folks, step right up! Come to Arizona. We have dirt and heat and a giant hole in the ground we call the Graaaaaand Canyon. Salt, we hope to come soon. I know DH would really like to visit his brother in the next 6 months. I'm thinking plane tickets would make a nice Christmas present.

    I really don't know how I missed that before : / I used to live Sykesville which I believe was in Carroll County? We moved when I was about 12 so I can't remember specifically but I do remember the blizzard of ' 96 and being miserable. We were literally snowed into our house with no water or electricity - ugh it was bad. Which is probably why I enjoy living down south so much - no snow!! : )

    Oh man that blizzard was a BIITCH. I was a senior in high school and school was closed for like 2 weeks. We missed our mid-terms and didn't have to retake them though, so it wasn't all bad.

    Honestly, I think that's what I'll do, Salt. He doesn't ever need or want for anything, but I know tickets can be expensive and he'd really enjoy a trip.

    Night Salt!That blizzard was really bad and I am soooo glad we moved later on that year and didn't have to deal with another one like that - that year kind of killed my love of snow. It's one thing having school canceled and having a whole day of sledding but it's whole 'nother thing when you can't even open your door
