Iron-Ons

Jen's post inspired me to go out to Michaels on my lunch and find the iron-ons. I could only find bride related ones and they are metallic type things not rhinestones. Is anyone one else taking on this project or have completed it? Where did you find your iron-ons and what did you pay? I would like some that say Bridesmaids or Flower Girl ect. or even make my own so I could do nick names for my girls on the back side of the shirts to make them more personal.

I made my own rhinestone shirts, and I bought the transfers online on ebay.  I bought a 7 pack for like $30, so it was a preety good deal.  The seller was Just Blingin it....or something like that.

I remember finding a template a while back on how to do this yourself.  It's in my email somewhere, I've been looking for it for a while, but no luck.  Try going on the DIY board to see if someone can send it to you.  I can tell you when I did these iron ons, some of the rhinestones didn't stick & I had to glue them on by hand.  I don't know if I'd want to do a whole word... takes lots of patience :)

I went to the Michaels near me today to try and snag some myself ( I live about 30mins North of Tampa). They were in the aisle with all the DIY wedding invitation in between the bridal shower and wedding day accessories. I was able to find the ones for the bride, but they were out of stock on the bridal party ones. Keep in mind it's not "prime" wedding season for them, and they're focusing on xmas stuff. I've been waiting for literally WEEKS for them to get the card box i've wanted and it just came in yesterday. also on jen's original post one of the girls said she was willing to  mail them to us if we needed, and i'd be willing to do the same! Right now though, my store is out of them :-(

I got them online from Bella Designs online. (http://www.belladesignsstl.com/cart/) They're $5.99 each and they're currently running a special where if you buy 5, you get 2 free. They apparently now offer personalized iron-on rhinestone appliques as well, so that would solve your nickname idea. They worked really well and ended up being so much cheaper than buying the pre-made ones. HTH!

briezygator - I checked out their website and when I went to order I found out that they give you two per picked free iron-ons with an order of 5 I was thinking it would be buy 5 get 2 free, like of my choice. Also there custom ones are like future Mr. _ or your wedding date here type of thing. I want an iron-on with just the nick name. Maybe if I email them and tell them what I want they will be willing to work with me.
