So a good friend was shot in the arm at Fort Hood last week. She had surgery yesterday to remove the bullet fragments in her arm and repair the bone with a steel plate, and now it looks like even though she couldn't feel or more her thumb, and two other fingers were numb, she should make a full recovery. I'm so incredibly thankful that she's going to be fully-functional again, and that she's got a strong network of friends and family to help her through the mental part of her recovery!
